I did a lot of work around the house today getting the studio ready. I’m getting all my stuff out and dusting it off, now I just have to get a midi pluging for my D50. I love that keyboard. It just has some really good sounds.
An interesting day. I made a new recipe that turned out really good, but no one came to TV night to taste my food. The Shins released there CD this week and I have to go get it.
I found this amazing guitar player on the net this week. His name is Andy Mckee and he does a lot of 2 handed tapping and amazing finger picking. Check out his youtube videos because it will blow you away.
Elijah Black and I are going to try and set up some gigs in Minneapolis in either Jan or Feb. It would be awesome to rock out with him. Today I’m trying to get the motivation to get off the couch and clean the apt. We are going to have the podcast at the house today so I need to clean up a little.
I was going to start work on the new CD after the first of the year but I got inspired and started one of the new songs today.
I’m recording songs that I have had for a long time. I was thinking of putting them on the first CD, but I wanted to write all new songs for the first CD and just make a clean start.
I really like a lot of the older songs and now I want to put them on a CD. This time around I’m going to have a full band on most of the CD. Lots of programing on this CD. Maybe some day I can record a CD and all I have to do is walk in play my guitar and sing..
Bearapalooza 5 took place at the Sawmill Campground in Dade City, Florida with another group of amazing performers.
I had a blast hanging out with the guys playing music all over the campground sings songs till the wee hours of the morning. It was awesome.

I performed this past Sat 23rd at the French Press Jazz Cafe. It is a wonderful space. The acoustics are wonderful and the lighting in this pictures captures the mood for most of my songs. I had a great time and there was a large turn out. Woo Hoo..
